Missing Tracy WOman Found Dead

By Rick Jauregui

Fresno County Sheriffs were puzzled after discovering the body of a 21 year old woman from Tracy on July 30th. The body was identified as belonging to Megan Troen. Troen was reported missing for one week by the Tracy Police Department.

The Sheriff’s office has declined to provide full detail regarding Troen’s murder but has confirmed it being a homicide.

The suspect, identified as the 20-year old Kaleo Schreiner, had actually been in a 7 year relationship with Troen but had broken up for unknown reasons. It is known that they remained friend.

Kaleo Schreiner, described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 300 pounds with a shaved head, has several small tattoos, including an  assault rifle above his right eyebrow and the letters "LV" on his right cheek, according to investigators. Schreiner may be armed and may be driving a 2001 black Lexus IS 300 with California license plate 6SLZ045. According to officers, he is known to visit the following California cities: West Covina, Baldwin Park, Pittsburg, Tracy, Stockton and Sacramento.

Troen’s mother admitted that Megan had a diminished mental capacity and did not function as a typical 20-year old. Troen’s mother, upon finding out her daughter was found dead, stated that she was devastated.
