Glee Club Keeps on Singing

Like on the popular FOX television show, Glee, we have our very own Glee Club. The Glee Club’s president is Trinity Nguyen, a sophomore this year who had founded this club last year.

The Glee Club currently has more than twenty members which is a lot bigger than last year’s club. They meets on Mondays in Mrs. Leyva’s room after school.

The purpose of the Glee Club is to develop performance skills and to perform well, have fun, and to create a better school environment.

Last year, they held a Disney themed performance and are planning to many more performances in the future. As of now, the Glee Club plans to have another concert some time in January. The Glee Club would love to perform at more school functions like rallies, but unfortunately it would be difficult since there aren’t enough microphones for all the members.

They plan on raising enough money through their next performance to buy the much needed microphones.

The club considers themselves to be a very supportive and loving family.

“We are always ready to support each other. It is a glee tradition to sing someone a song when they are upset. Members are also welcome to perform a song that expresses their feelings. New members are welcomed quickly into our family with the same support older members receive.” says Nguyen.

The glee club is currently focusing on local performances, however they do plan on entering public competitions next year. If you’re interested, contact Trinity Nguyen via email and check out the club!
