Homecoming Court Selected by Faculty

Homecoming is rapidly approaching. This time around, the election process is radically different. Teachers have nominated students based on personality, academic, and character traits, like maturity, work ethic, involvement in extracurriculars, humility, and kindness.

While people say that the nominations for Homecoming Court this year are “teacher’s pets”, this is hardly true. Students in leadership voted on this new policy in order to remove the stereotypical and usual Homecoming Court heads and allow people who deserve the title to receive what they have earned. The top nominees will be voted on first and the final nominees will be put on the ballot for advisory of September 17th. The winners will be announced at the Homecoming Game on Friday, September 25th at halftime.
